Mark Warnquist

CEO & Co-Founder

Mark brings a wealth of Insurance & Tech Platform experience to his role as CEO of InShare. Prior to founding InShare with Sean Fitzsimmons, Mark led a global team responsible for Uber’s insurance claims function.

Before Uber, Mark served as Chief Claims Officer for Aviva Canada in Toronto. He has also held a number of senior leadership roles at Travelers, including International Claim VP, GL Claim VP, Middle Market Claims Lead, and Group General Counsel. Earlier in his career, Mark was a trial lawyer with leading NY and DC-based law firms.

Mark is a graduate of Penn State and George Washington University law school. He and his wife, Dana, reside in Scottsdale, AZ and have two children.

Sean Fitzsimmons

CUO & Co-Founder

Co-Founder and CUO Sean Fitzsimmons has been fortunate to have lived in the start-up world of Uber and Lyft for the past 5 years where he gained a solid understanding of the sharing economy industry and the need to be innovative in dealing with fast growth and constant change.

Sean’s core focus at Uber was to manage the global corporate risk of the company across 70+ countries and to build scalable insurance products to meet customers needs in North America. Sean initially started his career out as a reinsurance broker at Guy Carpenter & Company (MMC) before moving to Aviva to focus on growing their multinational portfolio and developing new affinity programs in the Arabian Gulf. Sean gained additional expertise as head of risk management at CSAA (a AAA Insurer) and Hewlett Packard.

Sean earned his MBA from the University of Cape Town and obtained his undergraduate degree in business from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Erin Syring

COO & Chief Legal Officer

Erin joined InShare as the COO and Chief Legal Officer in 2020 working closely with operations, sales, and compliance after more than twenty-five years previous and diverse experience in private practice, with a national insurance carrier and with a national insurance broker.

Erin spent the last two decades in a variety of executive leadership roles leading an array of teams including operations, alternative risk solutions, management liability, global, enterprise risk management, contract review, claim and risk control. She worked with a variety of insurance programs, industries and clients giving her unique insights and experience in solving the many challenges confronting businesses today.

Erin earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law.

Randall Brenner

SVP, Claims & Operations

Randall is part of InShare’s Operations team where his primary focus is claims and consulting. In addition, Randall is a licensed producer nationwide in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health.

Prior to joining InShare, Randall was Senior Manager, Claims of Airbnb’s Insurance Solutions team. Randall’s career in insurance has spanned over 20 years between traditional insurance companies (Progressive & Travelers) and technology companies (Uber & Airbnb).

Randall holds a Bachelor’s in Politics from the University of San Francisco as well as an Associate in Claims designation. He is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Randy Ayento

Director, Claims & Innovation

Randy joins InShare as their Director of Claims & Innovation.

Before joining InShare as their Director of Claims & Innovation, Randy spent the last 5 years leading clams and innovation at Uber. In his role, Randy lead a number of key initiatives and teams that impacted claims operations for non-core products such as micromobility, autonomous vehicles, last mile delivery, and cargo - to name a few.

Randy holds over 15 years of traditional insurance experience with well established companies (Progressive and Encompass), and is well versed in the adjudication of claims across a variety of states.

Randy holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
